Replica of the platter bearing 7646025. The metal bearing flange is an original Thorens part. The brass bushing is a newly precision manufacured part. The important dimensions are picked from the original drawing. The big difference to the original design is the axial bearing section. The axial bearing is made from a Teflon-Graphite-Compound. It can be changes, as it is ebedded in a bearing nut. This nut is bigger in diameter (~23mm instead of ~16mm). So it might be necessary open the drill hole in the bottom plate of the turntable. The original sheet metal ring for the grounging of the bearing is already integrated.

This Platter Bearing is also a good choice for DIY turntable projects. It can be combined with platter axle 6862042 and Thorens Sub Platters.
