This capacitor was used in many Dual models at the mains switch, for example at Dual CS728Q and CS741Q.

Over the years, this capacitor can almost explode and smoke with strong smell comes out of the turntable. Also the internal fuse can be blown. Therefore this capacitor got the german name "Knallfrosch", which means fire kracker. Picture 2 shows such an exploded capacitor.

Please note, that this capacitor is an important safety part! Please check the specification of the original part, that it matches to the specs of the spare. The exchange has to be done by correctly trained persons only.
