Description:
For many years, the "origial belts" for a Dual 505-4 were produced out of the original specification. They were much thicker than the original belts in the above listed models. The belt thickness has increased to 0.8mm, which creates much higher belt tension as originally planned. This stresses the motor and platter bearing and resuls also in higher wow and flutter values.
Therefore we created our own belt replica, according to the old belt specifications from Dual. The belt thickness is back to the original 0.6mm, which makes the belt much more flexible. Belt tension is signifficantly reduced. This creates less forces to the bearings and improves the wow and flutter values as well. Also the belt switching mechanism works more reliable with this belt.
So this belt is the best choice, if you would like to reach the performance values as originally planned from Dual.
