So you can deside, which stylus you would like to install. Depending on your budget and sound expectations, you can install the Ortofon stylus 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40. Also the 78 type can be installed. You will find a selection of this ortofon stylus at the
cartridge section in my webshop.

Description:
The Dualfred TKS-OMx is based on an Ortofon OM cartridge. The top plate is a replica of the original TKS-mount. So it fits directly to the above mentioned Dual turntable models. The TKS-mount plate is made of the high tech plastic material POM on a CNC milling machine. So it has much higher strength than the original Dual part. This is not a cheap 3D-printed part! The contact pins to the tonearm head are made of gold plated brass material. This creates very low and long term stable contact resistance values. The connection between these contact pins and the cartridge pins directly wired. So both ends are soldered. There is no additional connector in between. No connector means no contact problems at all.
Cartridge height and stylus position of the Dualfred TKS-OMx cartridge is exactly the same like the original Dual TKS-Types. There is no adjustment of the cartrige position necessary. The mass is ~3 gramms (including stylus), which is the same as the original Dual TKS-cartridges with Ortofon bodies.
The technical data are the same as the original Ortofon OM-Series with the installed stylus (except weight and dimensions). A datasheet is shown in picture 3. It is possible to install all Ortofon OM-series stylus to the TKS-OMx. So the spare stylus support is non critical. The usage of higher grade stylus of the Ortofon OM-series offers a upgrade opportunities, up to the top level.
